The QLD Interschool Challenge Primary Finals 2009 were held on 9 August over 3 Zone Finals – South, Central and North to find the QLD Primary Champion for 2009.
It was an exciting competition with zone winners not knowing if their pinfall was highest in the state until all results had been collated. The QLD Primary Champions for 2009 are:
UNDURBA STATE SCHOOL
with 3,219 total pinfall, closely followed by East Ayr State School Team 1 with a total pinfall of 3,066 pins.
All finalists received prize packs, provided from Coca-Cola, pencil cases with bowling items from AMF and Hammer lapel pins from Animals Proshop. The top 3 teams in each Zone received medallions for achieving places in their regional area – congratulations to all teams!
