NEW BOWLERS
Beginner clinics are Learn to Bowl Programs provided by Bowling Centres - these courses are designed to assist new bowlers enter both the sport and the recreational bowling scenes. Please apply to your local Bowling Centre.

TBAQ Licenced Centres provide FUNTIPS ©
The FUNTIP Centres provide an accelerated learning program to the new bowler or the regular social player who would like to improve scores. The FUNTIPS program also offers a unique loyalty program to benefit new bowlers. Please apply to TBAQ for a list of licenced Centres who offer this world first program. FUNTIPS are free to the bowler and take only 5 minutes to implement.
BOWLER PROFICIENCY CERTIFICATE
All bowlers can benefit from this 7 hour program of Drills and technique appraisal. Accredited registered coaches provide this Certificate program to bowlers. The Bowler Proficiency Certificate is also the first step required in TBA coaching pathways.
12 FRAME PROGRAMS © FOR THE COMPETITION BOWLER
6 Frames of Technique drills, and 6 frames of Reading the Lanes make up the 12 Frame program. This program offers 7 hours of on-lane bowling, completed over one or two days to prepare any junior, youth or adult for competition bowling. Those aspiring to higher skills will obtain a manual with up to date lane reading and technique appraisals within this copyright program. TBAQ presenters operate in all regions of Qld. Class size minimum is 12. Cost approximately $100 per bowler.
JUNIOR & YOUTH DEVELOPMENT CAMPS
1 or 2 days of skill analysis, technique appraisal and learning how to bowl lines and angles. These camps also teach sparing and strike adjustment systems to the competition bowler. The Camps provide a strong base of learning for any athlete starting out on representative team pathways. Adult programs are also available. High Performance coaches lead a strong support team of coaching expertise. Class size minimum is 12.
TALENT ID
High Performance coaches ID local talent and offer support to those athletes wishing to enter the National Training Squad. Entry level to this talent ID process is via any registered Bowler program as listed above. TBAQ provides serious athletes with a list of training and performance measures to hone their skills in readiness for Local, State and Representative Australian team nominations. During 2007 TBAQ will also offer travel assistance via the Sport & Recreation Funding programs for those athletes travelling more than 300 klm to Qld State or Zone Championships (applicable to athletes Under 18 years of age).
COMPUTER ANALYSIS FOR BOWLERS
TBAQ also offer computer analysis for bowlers - cost $50 per person in groups of 6 or more please apply to TBAQ.
