The Tenpin Bowling Association of Queensland is grateful for the support of the Department of National Parks, Recreation, Sport and Racing. The Queensland Government provides $190,000 to the Tenpin Bowling Association of Queensland inc.(TBAQ) to get more Queenslanders active through sport and recreation.
TBAQ do this through supplying access to our sport at over 200 schools each year and partnering with other Community service organisations using modified tenpin bowling equipment (called Roll ‘n Strike kits) in schools and community centres across the State.
TBAQ also deliver Bowler and Coach education and training pathways authorised by Tenpin Bowling Australia, and our volunteer committees provide Championships, qualifying tournaments and selection for State representative teams for all categories of bowlers. Membership services are provided by volunteers at each local bowling centre while the TBAQ Board of Management Governs the sport of Tenpin Bowling in Queensland.
