Bruce Morris

Bruce Morris

Bruce began his journey in the sport as a junior competing at exhibition bowl before he was later hired as the Centre’s backend mechanic.

It was in these very early stages of his life that Bruce decided he wanted to dedicate his career to growing the sport of Tenpin Bowling. He started as the manager of Logan City Lanes then became the manager of Browns Plains Tenpin and Surfers Paradise Tenpin. He also managed Go Bowling Ashmore.

He worked at TBAQ as the state administrator for many years, he served as the Goldpin and ABPA President where he was a valued member.
On a national scale he served as a board member for Tenpin Bowling Australia for 6 years.

Bruce has experience in Governance and organisational enhancement. His voice has grown to be well respected, and many listen to the advice he has to offer, from both a bowling and business perspective, as well as a sport advocate. In his later years, he has been known to take new owners under his wing and help them get on their feet.

He is currently the owner of Logan City Tenpin and is very passionate about the future of Tenpin Bowling. His focus on fostering participation at the junior level, is the key to success of Bowl patrol and Junior Programs at logan City Tenpin. He has invested so wholly in these programs that two of his grandchildren have undertaken Bowl Patrol and are now some of our most exciting up and coming juniors. He has ensured that the Morris name will continue in the sport of Tenpin Bowling for years to come.
