Olympian Glynis Nunn VIP guest speaker at TBAQ Sport Awards

Excitement is building amongst the bowling community throughout Queensland in anticipation of the TBAQ’s Awards function in the City of Logan’s Blackbox Theatre on 16 February.
The event will be live-streamed nationally and a highlight of the evening’s event will be an address by guest speaker Glynis Nunn OAM OLY. The highly respected Olympian who received a Medal of the Order of Australia and has been inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame will provide a glimpse of her involvement in sporting programs for young developing athletes at the Gold Coast Academy of Sport.
Twenty awards across various categories will be presented recognising outstanding achievements of individual bowlers and teams, as well as the significant contribution of TBAQ’s committees and volunteers throughout 2023-2024. Two inductees into TBAQ’s esteemed Hall of Fame will also be revealed.
Supported by the City of Logan, the event will be hosted by the Board of the Tenpin Bowling Association of Queensland. Logan City Councillor Teresa Lane and prominent figures in the sport and tenpin bowling industry will be involved in presenting these prestigious Awards.
